The sunlight softly glistens
On the rice, so sweet and squishy.
Cucumber pokes out of the top,
Provoking,
Tempting,
The need,
The need to feed on that sweet, sweet roll.
Oh perfection before my eyes!
So succulent and tasty
The flavors explode on my tongue.
The wasabi burns so sweetly
I can feel the fiery invasion.
Pickled ginger calms the invaders,
Green tea,
The storm calms.
Oh, incredibly tasty last roll,
GOODBYE!!!
